To provide a ceiling travel type unmanned flight body which does not submerge even when it is fallen in a water channel, and which can fly so as to travel in a stable state along a ceiling surface of a pipe line.SOLUTION: A ceiling travel type unmanned flight body comprises: a flight body main body part 1 having a horizontal rotary wing 2; plural upper leg parts 3 having a rolling element 4 for traveling along a ceiling surface on a tip end part thereof, and being provided on the flight body main body part 1 so as to be protruded upward; a lower leg part 5 provided on the flight body main body part 1 so as to be positioned below the horizontal rotary wing 2; and inspection means 6 for inspecting inside of the pipe line. The upper leg parts 3 are configured to be tilted and fallen freely, and have an energization member 7 therefore the upper leg parts 3 can perform a standing operation in a tilted state by return energization force of the energization member 7, and the lower leg part 5 is formed into a floating body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
