To provide an auxiliary member for attaching an eaves gutter hanger, which enables a wide variety of eaves gutter hangers to be firmly attached to an edge of eaves without reference to the material quality and thickness of a gable member.SOLUTION: An auxiliary member for attaching an eaves gutter hanger comprises an attachment part that is constituted to come into contact with a rafter or a sheathing roof board, and a mark part that is constituted to be capable of indicating a position of at least a part of an end surface of the rafter after a gable member is attached next to the end surface of the rafter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1-1
