To provide a solar panel frame having a panel holding member for suppressing movement of a solar panel in a direction separate away from a horizontal crosspiece, which can be shipped with simple packaging.SOLUTION: A solar panel frame 3 for fixing a solar panel 4 to a roof comprises: a vertical crosspiece 31; a horizontal crosspiece 32 which extends in a direction perpendicular to an inclination direction and is connected to the vertical crosspiece 31; and a panel holding member 35 which is disposed at the upper plane side of the solar panel 4 for restricting the solar panel 4 from moving away from the horizontal crosspiece 32. The upper portion of the horizontal crosspiece 32 is positioned being nipped by the eaves side end of the solar panel 4 at the ridge side and the ridge side end of the solar panel 4 at the eaves side. The panel holding member 35 includes: a pair of retainer pieces 352, 353 which are disposed at the eaves side end of a neighboring solar panel 4 and at the upper side of the ridge side end extending both of eaves side and ridge side in an inclination direction of the roof; and an engagement catch portion 534 which is formed protruding downward to engage with the upper portion of the horizontal crosspiece 32, and which is fixed to the upper portion of the horizontal crosspiece 32 with screws.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
