To achieve both storing and infiltrating rainwater and eliminating an electric pole on sidewalk and the like.SOLUTION: A system 1 for storing and infiltrating rainwater and for eliminating an electric pole comprises a rainwater storage and infiltration tank (rainwater infiltration tank) 2 embedded in the ground, and a pipeline material 3 which penetrates the rainwater storage and infiltration tank 2 and accommodates cables 4 therein. The rainwater storage and infiltration tank 2 may be embedded under a sidewalk 11, and a water permeable or water retaining interlocking block may be laid on the sidewalk 11. An inspection port 8 may be provided on a ceiling surface of the rainwater storage and infiltration tank 2, and the pipeline material 3 may be disposed near the ground surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
