SWITCH VALVE FOR EMERGENCY WATER SUPPLY
To provide a switch valve to solve a problem in which: when breakage of a primary side water distribution main pipe occurs, countermeasure is taken to supply water to the secondary side by a water tank truck or the like, while there is no countermeasure for the case of breakage of the secondary side; a water flow test and mud discharge after replacement of a water meter or a maintenance work require long time and many efforts such as disconnection of joint pipes and the like.SOLUTION: A switch valve for emergency water supply comprises a third water passage 23; and a ball valve element 3 that rotates to switch between a normal flow passage for water flow from a primary side to a secondary side and an emergency water passage from the primary side to the third water passage, formed by shutting off water flow to the secondary side. 【課題】１次側の通水配水本管が破損した場合に、給水車等で２次側に給水できるようにした対応がなされていたが、２次側が破損した場合の対応策はなく、また、水道メータの交換やメンテナンス作業後の通水試験や泥吐きについては接合配管の取外し等多大な時間と労力が必要であった。【解決手段】第３水路２３を備え、ボール弁体の回動によって、１次側から２次側に通水する通常水路と、２次側への通水を遮断し、１次側から第３水路に通水する応急水路に切換えるボール弁体３を設けた応急給水対応切換弁を、水道メータ１１の２次側に設定するように構成した。【選択図】図６
