To provide a highly reliable dielectric powder having a high dielectric constant and a multilayer ceramic electronic component using the same.SOLUTION: A multilayer ceramic electronic component according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a main body portion including a dielectric layer and internal electrodes disposed to face each other with the dielectric layer interposed therebetween and an external electrode disposed outside the main body portion and electrically connected to the internal electrodes, and the dielectric layer includes a grain including a semiconductive or conductive grain core region including a doped material including a rare earth element and a base material represented by ABO(A is at least one of Ba, Sr, and Ca, and B is at least one of Ti, Zr, and Hf) and an insulating grain shell region surrounding the grain core region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
