To provide a decorative material excellent in designability, a building material using the same, and a method for manufacturing a decorative material for manufacturing the decorative material.SOLUTION: A decorative material 10 includes a woody base material 11, a woody plate 13 laminated on the surface side of the woody base material 11, and a transparent film sheet 16 stuck to the surface of the woody plate 13 through an adhesive 17, where a transparent resin material 15 penetrates through at least a surface layer part of the woody plate 13, and a groove for bending not reaching the film sheet 16 is formed on the rear face of the woody base material 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
