To provide a sash of a refined design capable of widening a lighting range and improving window opening feeling by reducing the size of the width face of the sash and a sash window including the sash.SOLUTION: For a width face M2 of an upper frame 2 of inner/outer sashes 11 and 10, an upper end G2 of glass of the sash is housed at a size H2 of a width face height thereof, and for a width face M3 of a lower frame 3, a lower end G3 of the glass of the sash is housed at a size H3 of a width face height thereof, each frame 2, 3 which a sash frame 5 faces is only a glass housing part, and the range of the glass G is widened.
