To provide a protective material for resin window frame which is resistant to cracking and peeling due to organic solvents and which can withstand long-term use.SOLUTION: A protective material for a resin window frame is laminated on the resin window frame for protecting the resin window frame, the protective material for resin window frame being featured of 1.0 to 3.0% of critical strain by 1/4 ellipticity test under the state in which the protective material is laminated on the resin window frame. 【課題】有機溶媒によるひび割れや、剥離の発生を抑制し、長期間の使用に耐えうる耐久性に優れた樹脂製窓枠用保護材を提供する。【解決手段】樹脂製窓枠上に積層され、樹脂製窓枠を保護する樹脂製窓枠用保護材であって、樹脂製窓枠上に該保護材が積層された状態における１／４楕円法試験による臨界ひずみが１．０〜３．０％であることを特徴とする樹脂製窓枠用保護材を提供する。また、樹脂製窓枠上の少なくとも一部に保護材が積層された樹脂製窓枠を提供する。【選択図】図１
