COMMUNICATION SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE, ON-VEHICLE APPARATUS AND PORTABLE MACHINE
To provide a communication system for vehicle which facilitates establishment of communication between a portable machine and an on-vehicle apparatus and has low consumption power.SOLUTION: A communication system for vehicle 1 performs wireless communication between a portable machine 20 and an on-vehicle apparatus 10 mounted on a vehicle 2 and comprises tire pneumatic pressure sensors 30 which include sensor parts attached to a plurality of tires 3 of the vehicle 2, respectively, and detect the pneumatic pressure of the tires 3 and a tire radio part which wirelessly transmits a signal showing the pneumatic pressure detected by the sensor parts. The tire radio part is capable of wirelessly transmitting and receiving a signal between the portable machine 20 and the on-vehicle apparatus 10 and makes it possible to switch between direct communication of the portable machine 20 with the on-vehicle apparatus 10 and relay communication of the portable machine 20 with the on-vehicle apparatus 10 via the tire pneumatic pressure sensors 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
