To solve such problems that in a cutting operation carried out in such an operator's posture as hunkering down while paying attention on power adjustment, it is impossible to press a cutter blade to a ruler at a constant power to move a cutter blade at good linearity; a wall paper is cut in an undulating state by fluctuation of a pressing force; and a cutting-plane line made by cutting while sliding the ruler from a ceiling toward a lower direction does not correspond to that line made by cutting upward from below to be misaligned.SOLUTION: There is provided a cutting tool capable of stably carrying out a cutting operation in such a state as holding down both sides near the cutting position by a cutter blade using a holddown means protruding farther on the cutter blade, the holddown means protruding with the same dimension as the protruding dimension of a tip of the cutter blade, or that means protruding in a state shorter less than 1 mm than the protruding dimension of the cutter blade tip.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】作業者がしゃがみ込む姿勢での切断において、力の加減にも注意が必要で、カッター刃を定規に一定の力で押しつけて直線性よくカッターナイフを移動させることができずに、押しつける力が変動してしまい、壁紙の切断が波打つような状態となってしまうことも発生したり、天井から下方向に定規をずらしながら切断していた切断線と下から上方向に切断した線と下から上に切断する線が一致せずにずれてしまうことまで発生することがあった。【解決手段】カッター刃よりも突出した押さえ手段、又はカッター刃の刃先の突出寸法と同じ寸法で突出しした押さえ手段、あるいはカッター刃の刃先の突出寸法に対して１ｍｍ未満短い状態に突出した押さえ手段によってカッター刃の切断位置近くの両側を押さえた状態で切断作業を安定して行うことができる切断用工具を提供する。【選択図】 図１
