To provide a lightweight and compact load bearing wall capable of surely resisting a load in all directions.SOLUTION: In a load bearing wall 1 provided with a foundation member 10 extending in the lateral direction, a pair of column members 20 extending upward from the foundation member 10 and provided at intervals in the extending direction of the foundation member 10, and a beam member 30 connected to the upper end sides of the column members 20 and extending in the lateral direction, a reinforcement panel 50 is disposed including a core member in which a long sheet-like reinforcing fiber plastic material is curved so as to form a plurality of closed cross sections in a front view, a front closure member including a plate-like reinforcing fiber plastic material for closing a front end of the core member, and a rear closing member including a plate-like reinforcing fiber plastic material for closing a rear end of the core member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
