To provide a suction type mud soil dredging apparatus which prevents a foreign matter suction trouble and has a foreign matter removal function from the apparatus.SOLUTION: A mud soil dredging apparatus includes: a suction mechanism part 1 which sucks mud turbid water containing dredge mud from a suction port and discharges the sucked mud turbid water to the outside; and a screen part 2 which prevents foreign matter intrusion to a suction port 122, where the screen part is formed of comb-like screens 22 that are engaged with each other, and the comb-like screens are provided rotatably with appropriate parallel positions that are adjacent to the suction port and are opposite to each other across the suction port as a rotation center (rotation axis 21), and a screen opening/closing operation part (operation lever 23) that rotationally operates the comb-like screen is arranged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
