To provide a snow stop device easy-to-carry onto a roof and easy-to-install to the roof.SOLUTION: The snow stop device comprises: a support bracket 2 fixable to a sloped roof 1; and a snow stop member 3 constituted of a rod-like body or strip-like body of 500 mm or less in length, which has an attachment part 4 attachable to the support bracket 2 at both ends. The snow stop device is configured so that one snow stop member 3 is attached laterally to the two support brackets 2 therebetween via the attachment parts 4, which are fixed to the sloped roof 1 separated away from each other in a direction perpendicular to the roof slope direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
