FUNCTION SEPARATION TYPE IMPACT ABSORBER
To provide a function separation type impact absorber: which has a high impact absorption capacity at the time of a large earthquake; and which allows time of replacement to be easily determined; and which can be easily replaced, after a disaster is stricken; and which allows a magnitude of the earthquake to be instantaneously determined with a specific part forcedly broken if an earthquake force above the one assumed at design, is exerted.SOLUTION: A function separation type impact absorber comprises: an impact absorbing body 2: and a chain 3 connected to an end of the impact absorbing body 2; and the function separation type impact absorber is installed between an end part 6 of a bridge girder and a bridge abutment 7. The impact absorbing body 2 is provided with a deformable core material 8 which is deformed in an elasto-plastic fashion in a bridge axial direction by a tensile load caused by a relative displacement between the bridge girder 6 and the bridge abutment 7; a cylindrical cover 9 encapsulating the deformable core material 8; and an elasto-plastic deformation quantity indication part 11 which indicates the elasto-plastic deformation quantity of the deformation core material 8 by projecting from an end of the cylindrical cover 9 proportionally to the elasto-plastic deformation of deformation core material 8. It is possible to determine degree of the elastic-plastic deformation of the deformation core material 8 by the projecting length of the elasto-plastic deformation quantity display 11 projecting from the end of the cylindrical cover 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】大地震時の衝撃吸収能力が高く、かつ被災した後の取替え時の判断及び取替えが容易な上に、設計を上回る地震力が作用した場合は、特定部位を強制的に破断させることで、瞬時にその地震の規模を把握きる機能分離型衝撃吸収装置を提供する。【解決手段】衝撃吸収体2と衝撃吸収体2の一端に繋がれたチェーン3とを備え、橋桁の端部6と橋台4間に設置する。衝撃吸収体2は、橋桁6と橋台2間の相対変位によって起こる引張り荷重によって橋軸方向に弾塑性変形する変形芯材8と、変形芯材8を内包する筒状カバー9と、変形芯材8の弾塑性変形に比例して筒状カバー9の端部から突出することにより、変形芯材8の弾塑性変形量を表示する弾塑性変形量表示部11とを備えている。筒状カバー9の端部から突出する弾塑性変形量表示部11の突出長さによって変形芯材8の弾塑性変形を確認することができる。【選択図】図1
