To provide an emergency shut-off valve that can cut off water reliably and can be easily restored.SOLUTION: A water-supply pipe structure comprises: a primary water-supply pipe 4 that is connected to a main pipe, a secondary water-supply pipe 8 that is connected to an outflow side end portion of tap water, for a water meter M connected to the outflow side end portion of the tap water of the primary water-supply pipe 4; a water-supply pipe shut-off valve 7 for a water-supply pipe that is disposed between the primary water-supply pipe 4 and the water meter M or between the water meter M and the secondary water-supply pipe 8, that houses an earthquake detector, and that operates when the earthquake detector detects a predetermined magnitude of vibration generated by an earthquake to cut off a flow of the tap water; and a box 5 that can accommodate the water-supply pipe shut-off valve 7 and the water meter M, and that is buried in ground.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
