To provide a ground investigation method capable of determining the necessity of vibration reduction measures of an earthquake by the minimum required ground investigation.SOLUTION: A ground investigation method of investigating the state of a ground includes: a process (step S1) of preparing a determination database in which a surface-layer ground amplification factor is calculated on the basis of the relationship between the depth to an engineering ground and an average S wave speed of a surface-layer ground; a process (step S2) of obtaining the depth to the engineering ground and the average S wave speed in the ground to be investigated by ground investigation; and a process (step S6) of determining the necessity of vibration reduction measures of the ground to be investigated on the basis of the result obtained by the ground investigation and the determination database.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】必要最低限の地盤調査によって地震の揺れ低減対策の要否を判定することが可能な地盤調査方法を提供する。【解決手段】地盤の状況を調査する地盤調査方法である。そして、工学的基盤に至るまでの深さと表層地盤の平均S波速度との関係に基づいて表層地盤増幅率が算出された判定データベースを予め準備する工程(ステップS1)と、調査対象地盤において工学的基盤に至るまでの深さと平均S波速度とを地盤調査によって取得する工程(ステップS2)と、地盤調査によって得られた結果と判定データベースとによって、調査対象地盤の揺れ低減対策の要否を判定する工程(ステップS6)とを備えている。【選択図】図1
