To provide a cover member and a floor joint device capable of closing a gap between one end of a joint plate and a floor surface of one frame and smoothly absorbing a shaking motion due to an earthquake if the joint becomes narrow due to the earthquake.SOLUTION: A cover member used for a joint plate having one end supported by a concave joint plate support formed on one housing and the other end supported by the other housing and closing a joint between one and the other housing, in which the cover material comprises a gap closing portion for closing the gap between one end of the joint plate formed at the upper end and the floor surface of one of the housings, a plate-like mounting portion provided integrally with the lower portion of the gap closing portion and attached to the wall surface of the joint plate support portion of one of the housings, and a repellent material provided on the joint plate side of the mounting portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】 目地プレートの一端部と一方の躯体の床面との間の隙間を塞ぐことができるとともに、地震によって目地部が狭くなった場合には、スムーズに地震による揺れ動きを吸収できるカバー部材及び床用目地装置を提供すること。【解決手段】 一方の躯体に形成された凹所状の目地プレート支持部に一端部が支持され、他方の躯体に他端部が支持され、一方と他方の躯体間の目地部を塞ぐ目地プレートに用いられるカバー部材であって、前記カバー部材は、その上端部に形成された前記目地プレートの一端部と一方の躯体の床面との隙間を塞ぐ隙間閉塞部と、この隙間閉塞部の下部に一体的に設けられ、一方の躯体の目地プレート支持部の壁面に取付けられる板状の取付部と、該取付部の目地プレート側に設けられた反発材からなることを特徴とする。【選択図】 図１
