TRAVELING CONTROL DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
To provide a traveling control device for a vehicle capable of suppressing fuel consumption while preventing a driver from feeling a change of a traveling speed when traveling at a relatively low speed in a state where a traveling load is relatively small.SOLUTION: A traveling control device 10 for a vehicle comprises a pressure sensor 24 which detects a pump pressure Pp. In a case where the pump pressure Pp that is detected by the pressure sensor 24 is equal to or higher than a predetermined first threshold during traveling in a state where a high-speed traveling mode is selected by a traveling mode selection switch 21, a controller 27 makes capacitance of hydraulic motors 14L and 14R relatively large. In a case where the pump pressure Pp that is detected by the pressure 24 is equal to or lower than a predetermined second threshold during traveling in a state where a low-speed traveling mode is selected by the traveling mode selection switch 21, the capacitance of the hydraulic motors 14L and 14R is made relatively small and in accordance with increment of a rotation speed with the capacitance reduction of the hydraulic motors 14L and 14R, at least an engine rotation speed is reduced, such that a traveling speed is substantially fixed before and after the capacitance change of the hydraulic motors 14L and 14R.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
