To provide a bactericidal water generating device capable of extending the life of an electrode and an ion exchange membrane and suppressing power consumption.SOLUTION: The disinfecting water generator 1 includes electrolytic bath 13 which electrolyzes water to produce the disinfecting water, a bowl 5 provided in a toilet to which the disinfecting water is supplied, a temperature detection unit 11 that detects and memorizes the environmental temperature of the bowl 5, a power supply unit 16 for supplying a direct current to the electrolytic cell 13, and a control unit 17 in which the growth temperature zone of the fungi to be propagated in the bowl 5 are set in advance and stored by the temperature detection unit 11, the control unit 17 configured to change the current value of the direct current based on the length of time during which the bowl temperature for a predetermined period stored in the temperature detection unit 11 is distributed in the proliferation temperature zone.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
