To provide a lawn planting structure capable of excellently growing a natural lawn on an artificial lawn carpet.SOLUTION: A lawn planting structure comprises: a cushioning material layer 2 provided on an existing paved road surface 1 and having water retention; an artificial lawn carpet 3 laid on the cushioning material layer 2; and a culture medium layer 5 provided on the artificial lawn carpet 3 for growing a natural lawn 4. The artificial lawn carpet 3 is provided with a rooting hole 15 for passing water and passing the root of the natural grass 4 through the cushioning layer 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
