To provide a sleeper for a working platform capable of improving strength while suppressing an increase in weight.SOLUTION: In a sleeper 10 supporting a floor plate 96 through a joist 95, a rectangular cylindrical body 31 having an upper wall 311, a lower wall 313 and a pair of right and left side walls 312 is provided; both end parts in the longitudinal direction are supported by a sleeper bracket 94, a support part 3 on which a joist 95 is placed on an upper wall 311, a reinforcement pipe 7 which extends along the supporting part 3 below the supporting part 3, and a plurality of connection plates 50 which connect the lower wall 313 to the reinforcement pipe 7 are provided; the supporting part 3 is erected at a central part in the width direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, and has reinforcing ribs 32 for connecting the upper wall 311 and the lower wall 313 over the entire length.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
