To provide a steel beam slab construction method which can easily mount a camber to a steel beam, and a steel beam.SOLUTION: A steel beam slab construction method that constructs a steel beam having a first steel beam member 30 and a second steel beam member 40 aligned in each of material axis direction, and a slab supported by the steel beam, includes: a steel beam construction method of constructing a steel beam, in which an upper first flange part 32 of the first steel beam member 30 is bolt-joined to a first plate part 70A on one side of a flange joint plate 70 bent in a gabled shape, and an upper second flange part 42 of the second steel beam member 40 is bolt-joined to a second plate part 70B on the other side of the flange joint plate 70, to a pair of columns; and a slab construction step of constructing the slab on the steel beam to deform a flange joint plate 70, and makes the flange joint plate 70 close to a flat plate shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
