To provide a wrong-direction travel warning device which makes it possible to suppress an equipment cost.SOLUTION: A wrong-direction travel warning device 1 for warning an occupant of a wrong-direction traveling vehicle traveling on a road R11 in a wrong direction to which the reverse traveling is prohibited of the wrong-direction traveling, is characterized in that it is provided with a plurality of lines of projection strips 11 which project from a road surface R11a of the road R11 to extend in a road width direction D13 of the road R11 and to be arranged in a road length direction D14 of the road R11; in each of the plurality of lines of projection strips 11, a belt image 12 is displayed on a wrong-direction traveling visual observation side surface 112 which is visually observed by an occupant of a wrong-direction traveling vehicle; and the belt image 12 of each of the plurality of lines of projection strips 11 connects in the road length direction D14 when viewing from the occupant of the wrong-direction traveling vehicle to configure a visually-recognizable warning image which warns of wrong-direction travel using at least one of characters and graphics.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
