To provide a hanging metal material which can be attached to and detached from a hanging side member made of a round pipe easily and effectively by little manpower.SOLUTION: A hanging metal material 1 attached to a hanging side member 22 made of a round pipe comprises: an annular attaching portion 2 detachably attached to the hanging side member 22; and a support portion 3 disposed at a lower end portion of the attaching portion 2 and supporting an object to be hung. The attaching portion 2 comprises: a flat steel upper member 4 including first arc-shaped portion 4A bent in an arc shape along an outer periphery of the hanging side member 22 and disposed in an upper part side of the hanging side member 22; and a lower member 5 including second arc-shaped portion 5A bent in an arc shape along an outer periphery of the hanging side member 22 and disposed in a lower part side of the hanging side member 22, and configured to be a vertically divided structure capable of sandwiching the hanging side member 22 in a vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
