To provide a bullet key control system and a bullet key that can take an optimal response even if reservation time for a use of a key is exceeded.SOLUTION: A time monitoring unit 50 counts reservation remaining time for a use of a bullet key 41. A communication target setting unit 51 sets a vehicle 1 as a communication target of the bullet key 41 if the reservation remaining time is sufficient, and sets a portable terminal 22 as the communication target of the bullet key 41 if the reservation remaining time is "0" or almost zero. An extension process execution unit 52 sends a key extension request requesting extension of the use of the key to the portable terminal 22 to enable the bullet key 41 to be used continuously if the reservation remaining time of the bullet key 41 is "0" or almost zero.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
