To provide a moving type container, an article delivery system, and an article delivery method, that allow an article to be received in a desired region at an arbitrary time within a predetermined period.SOLUTION: A moving type container 1 is disposed in a region where an article recipient 32 is located. The moving type container 1 includes: a container 1A for accommodating an article to be delivered (a home delivery article); a radio communication unit 15 for communicating with an operator 102 (a management device 101); authentication means for authenticating the article recipient 32; an electronic key 17 for unlocking the container 1A following the authentication by the authentication means; and reception confirmation means for confirming reception of the article by the article recipient 32 after unlocking the container 1A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
