To reduce the weight of a temporary protective fence foundation by fixing an elastic sheet and an adhesive sheet on the bottom of the temporary protective fence foundation, eliminating uneven contact pressure with an uneven installation surface, and obtaining a prescribed limit sliding load.SOLUTION: A temporary protective fence foundation 1 is placed on an installation surface S on which an irregular uneven surface is formed. A urethane foam elastic sheet 3 is fixed to both ends and the central part of the bottom surface of a body 6. Protrusions 61 and 62 are provided at both ends of the main body 6 to which an urethane-based adhesive sheet 2 is fixed to the bottom surface of the elastic sheet 3 for inserting a guardrail post and connecting adjacent temporary protective fence foundations 1 to each other. The temporary protective fence foundations 1 are mutually connected by inserting a guardrail post into cylinders 61a and 62a which are projected by protrusions 61 and 62 in a state where the protrusions 61 and 62 are engaged in an overlapping manner in the plane view.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
