To provide a drinking water generator capable of continuously disinfecting product water stored in storage means even in the event of a fault in the supply of electric power such as a power failure.SOLUTION: A drinking water generator comprises: water generation means 3 which obtains product water by condensating moisture in the air; storage means 4 which stores the product water; a lead-out passage 5 which introduces outside the product water stored in the storage means 4 to be taken out; ozone generation means 9 which generates ozone; a lead-in passage 11 which introduces the ozone generated by the ozone generation means 9 to the storage means 4; and a pump 10 for the ozone which delivers the ozone generated by the ozone generation means 9 through the lead-in passage 11 to the storage means 4. The drinking water generator also includes a portable power source 15 which generates or stores electric power so as to supply power to the ozone generation means 9 and the pump 10 for the ozone to introduce the ozone to the product water in the storage means 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
