ABOVEGROUND TANK AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR ABOVEGROUND TANK
To provide an aboveground tank and the like capable of easily being constructed while reducing an amount of tension member in a circumferential direction of the tank.SOLUTION: An LNG tank has a tank body including a bottom slab 5 and an oil protective barrier 2. A gap between the bottom of the oil protective barrier 2 and bottom slab 5 is filled with filler, and tension in a circumferential direction of the tank is introduced into the oil protective barrier 2. On the bottom of the oil protective barrier 2, overhanging portions 2a and 2c extending laterally from the oil protective barrier 2 are formed extending in the circumferential direction of the tank. The overhang portions 2a and 2c are divided by slits 20 and 25 in the circumferential direction of the tank. On an outer periphery of the bottom slab 5, a step portion is formed where a position of an upper surface is lowered in a step, and the bottom of the oil protective barrier 2 is disposed on the step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
