To provide a roof panel and an installation method of a roof panel in which sufficient strength is obtained, even when the number of fastening positions to a skeleton is reduced.SOLUTION: A roof panel 100 comprises: a plurality of rafter materials 1; and a face material 2 fixed on the rafter materials 1 so as to cover a section between the plurality of rafter materials 1. The roof panel 100 is fastened to a skeleton with an interval longer than 1000 mm in a longer direction of the rafter material 1 so that the rafter material 1 is interposed between the face material 2 and the skeleton.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
