To disclose an example of a window open/close device capable of realizing an opening degree 0 state in which a window opening is fully closed, a state in which the opening degree is fixed at the maximum opening, and a state in which the opening degree changes from approximately 0 to approximately the maximum opening depending on the wind pressure.SOLUTION: A window open/close device includes: an open/close arm 7 swinging between a first position that exerts a force to a sash 3 to thereby causing the sash 3 to swing toward the closed position side and a second position that exerts a force to the sash 3 to thereby causing the sash 3 to swing toward the open position side; a pressure receiving portion 8 configured to swing for displacement integrally with the sash 3 and configured to contact with a tip end portion 7A of the open/close arm 7 when the open/close arm 7 is positioned at the first position or the second position to receive a force for swinging; and an operating mechanism having a holding function to hold the open/close arm 7 at a third position between the first position and the second position and causing the open/close arm 7 to swing between the first position and the second position. The open/close arm 7 is put into the noncontact state with the pressure receiving portion 8 when the open/close arm 7 is positioned at the third position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
