To provide a civil engineering building block that can be loaded and carried efficiently, and that can reduce a carrying cost.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a civil engineering structure having a predetermined wall surface gradient and a civil engineering building block used for the civil engineering structure. The civil engineering building block includes a block body, and a support member provided on a back surface of the block body. The support member supports the block body so as to bring the block body into a standing attitude that forms the predetermined wall surface gradient.
