To make it possible to close a tide gate by an automatic control at a machine side, without relying on presence/absence of a foreign matter and remote confirmation and operation by a manager.SOLUTION: An automatic control system of a tide gate comprises: an urgency determination portion 130 receiving an emergency signal and determining urgency of the received emergency signal; an alarm output portion warning closure of a tide gate; an image processing portion 110 detecting a foreign matter from an image of a camera photographing the tide gate; a foreign matter determination portion 120 determining presence/absence of movement of the foreign matter detected by the image processing portion; a control portion 170 transmitting a signal controlling a power output portion actuating a gate of the tide gate and controlling notification by the alarm output portion; a tide gate abnormality determination portion 150 determining abnormality of a closed tide gate or completion of closure; and an automatic control determination portion 140 determining a control state of the tide gate based on information of the urgency determination portion and the tide gate abnormality determination portion and instructing the determined control state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
