To provide a steel-frame building which can secure wide exclusive portion and subdivision, and can reduce a member cost when the building is constructed.SOLUTION: A steel-frame building 1 includes a plurality of steel columns extending in a height direction of a building, a plurality of first steel beams extending in a first horizontal direction, and a plurality of second steel beams extending in a second horizontal direction perpendicular to the first direction, and is structured such that at least one of steel columns 4-1 to 4-4 forming one subdivision SBsatisfies one or both of having a first distance different from the adjacent steel column in the second direction, and having a second distance different from the adjacent steel column in the first direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
