ROOFING MATERIAL WITH WATERPROOF FUNCTION
To provide a new roofing material which eliminates the risk that raindrops or the like blown by wind from a gap between two boundary portions adjacent in the longitudinal direction, which exist in a conventional roofing material, reach a roof base.SOLUTION: A protrusion 9 is formed on the upper surface of an underlap part 3 at the boundary with a roof ing material body 1; the upper surface of the projection 9 is formed as a downward inclined surface 10 toward the roofing body 1; a groove 11 is formed at an opposing portion of a projection of a roofing material adjacent in the longitudinal direction in the roofing state in the undersurface of an overlap part 2; a portion of the groove 11 facing the lower inclined surface 10 of the projection 9 is made to be an upward and inward upward inclined surface 12, thereby the blown wind is changed in the downward direction after being changed in the obliquely upward direction between the projection 9 and the groove 11; that is, a meandering flow path is formed, raindrops and the like contained in the wind are caused to collide with the projections 9 and the grooves 11 to adhere and remove, and raindrops and the like remaining are caused to fall onto the underlap part 3 by reducing the flow velocity, thereby preventing raindrops and the like from reaching the roof base.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
【課題】従来の屋根葺材では、桁行方向に隣接する2枚の境界部位の隙間から吹き込む風に乗った雨粒等が屋根下地に到達する危険性がある。【解決手段】アンダーラップ部3の上面で屋根葺材本体1との境界部に突条9を形成し、該突条9の上面を下方且つ屋根葺材本体1側への下方傾斜面10とし、オーバーラップ部2の下面で葺設状態における桁行方向に隣接する屋根葺材における突条の対向部位に溝11を形成し、該溝11における突条9の下方傾斜面10との対向部位を上方且つ内側への上方傾斜面12とすることによって、突条9と溝11の間に、吹き込んだ風を斜め上方向に変更させた後に下方向に変更させる、即ち蛇行させる流路が形成されて、風に含まれる雨滴等を突条9及び溝11に衝突させ付着除去すると共に、流速を減速させて残留する雨滴等をアンダーラップ部3上に落下させて、雨滴等を屋根下地まで到達させない。【選択図】図6
