To provide an aqueous coating composition capable of forming a coated film which has good deposition property and coated film physical property, and is transparent.SOLUTION: There is provided an aqueous coating composition for forming a transparent coated film on a surface of a concrete structure, containing a synthetic resin emulsion of a carboxyl group-containing vinyl copolymer (a), an aqueous epoxy compound (b) which is a crosslinking component, and an amine stabilized silica sol (c) as a curing catalyst. By a dried coated film consisting of the aqueous coating composition, the surface of the structure is protected and exfoliation of concrete pieces can be prevented.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】良好な成膜性及び塗膜物性を有すると共に透明な塗膜を形成することができる水性塗料組成物を提供する。【解決手段】コンクリート構造物の表面に透明な塗膜を形成する水性塗料組成物であって、カルボキシル基含有ビニル系共重合体の合成樹脂エマルション（ａ）と、架橋成分である水性エポキシ化合物（ｂ）と、硬化触媒としてアミン安定化シリカゾル（ｃ）とを含む。この水性塗料組成物からなる乾燥塗膜によって構造物の表面を保護し、コンクリート片の剥落を防止することができる。【選択図】なし
