To provide an environment friendly to an aquatic animal such as fish by improving an underwater environment in a water region outside a silt fence.SOLUTION: The silt fence is provided with: a float 1 that floats on water; a fence 2 that is connected to the lower part of the float 1; and a weight 3 that is fixed to the lower end of the fence 2.
