To provide a construction method capable of improving workability and reducing a construction period and a cost for seismic reinforcement, due to be able to perform the work of providing a horizontal brace on a roof.SOLUTION: A bundle material 20 connected to an upper end of an existing column 11 of a building 1 and installed upward in a state of penetrating a roof 12, and a horizontal brace 21 connecting the plurality of bundle materials 20 projecting on the roof in the horizontal direction are provided; the bundle member 20 is vertically divided at a position above the roof 12 in a state of being connected to the upper end of the existing column 11; a lower bundle member 20A divided from the bundle member 20 from the opening 12c of the roof 12 is connected to the upper end of the existing column 11 by welding from the inside thereof; a seismic reinforcing structure in which an upper bundle material 20B is connected to an upper end of a lower bundle material 20A by welding from an outer peripheral side is provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】水平ブレースを設ける作業を屋根上で行うことが可能となるので、施工性を向上でき、耐震補強にかかる工期やコストの低減を図ることができる。【解決手段】建物1の既設柱11の上端に接続され、屋根12を貫通させた状態で上方に向けて設置される束材20と、屋根上に突出する複数の束材20間を水平方向に繋ぐ水平ブレース21と、を備え、束材20は、既設柱11の上端に接続された状態で、屋根12の上方位置で上下に分割され、屋根12の開口部12cから束材20のうち分割された下側束材20Aが既設柱11の上端に対して内側から溶接により接続され、下側束材20Aの上端に対して上側束材20Bが外周側から溶接により接続された構成の耐震補強構造を提供する。【選択図】図2
