To simplify the installation work between a gusset and a brace and shorten the construction period.SOLUTION: A connection method of the structure comprises an intervening step in which a connecting member is interposed between a gusset fixed to each of columns or beams and a brace connected to the gusset, and a mounting step for attaching the brace to the gusset via the connecting member. In the mounting step, while joining a first connection end provided in the gusset and one end of the connecting member, the gusset and the brace are coupled by joining a second connection end provided on the brace and the other end of the connecting member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
