BOX-SHAPED RETAINING WALL
To make it possible to store water temporarily under a box-shaped retaining wall in preparation for an unexpected amount of rainfall due to sudden rainfall or the like, and to prevent an outflow of and a decrease in stress intensity of a foundation ground so as to maintain the stability of a foundation ground and a back face ground.SOLUTION: A box-shaped retaining wall includes a plurality of steps z1, z2 piled up in a stairway shape along a sloping surface 10. In each of the steps z1, z2, a plurality of box-shaped retaining wall blocks 1 configured to include a surface plate 2, a rear counterfort plate 3 and connection plates 4, 4 connecting the surface plate 2 and the rear counterfort plate 3 are arranged laterally in front of the sloping surface 10. Each of the steps z1, z2 is constructed by filling void spaces 6, 7, 8 between the surface plate 2 and the sloping surface 10 with filling stones 19. A reservoir 14 extending laterally is provided under a box-shaped retaining wall block 1 in the lowermost step z1. The capacity of the reservoir per 1 m in lateral length is 0.4 to 4 m, water enters the reservoir from the top face part of the reservoir, and sediments in a surrounding ground 11 does not enter the reservoir substantially.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】ゲリラ豪雨などによる想定外の雨量に備えて、箱型擁壁の下に一時的に貯水できるようにし、基礎地盤の流出及び応力度低下を防ぎ、基礎地盤や背面地盤の安定性を維持する。【解決手段】箱型擁壁は法面10に沿って階段状に積み上げられた複数の段z1,z2を含み、各段z1,z2は、表面板2と後方の控板3とそれらを繋ぐ繋ぎ板4,4とを含み構成された箱型擁壁用ブロック1が法面10の手前に左右に複数並べられるとともに、表面板2から法面10までの間の空所6,7,8に充填石材19が充填されて構築されている。最下段z1の箱型擁壁用ブロック1の下に、左右に延び、左右長さ1m当たりの貯水容量が0.4〜4m3であり、貯水槽上面部から貯水槽内に水が入り、周囲地盤11の土砂が貯水槽内に実質的に入らない貯水槽14が設けられている。【選択図】図1
