To provide a weed-preventing artificial lawn which can ensure water permeability and prevent weeds from being exposed on the surface side.SOLUTION: A weed-preventing artificial lawn 1 includes: a base fabric 10 knitted with multifilament yarn warp 10a and weft 10b; and a pile 11 for artificial lawn to be tufted at prescribed intervals on the base fabric.
