To provide a cement composition having an appropriate strength development property and effectively suppressing heat of hydration.SOLUTION: A cement composition characterized in that the mineral composition by X-ray diffraction-Rietveld analysis has a CS content of 50 mass% to 65 mass%, a CS content of 10 mass% to 25 mass%, a CA content of 6 mass% to 11 mass%, and a CAF content of 9 mass% to 12 mass%, wherein the amount of KO solid-solved in CA is 0.3 mass% or less. Preferably, the specific surface area of Blaine is 3100-3500 cm/g, and it is preferable to include a step of mixing gypsum and a small amount of mixed components into the clinker obtained in the step of producing the cement clinker, and pulverizing the resulting mixture.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
