To provide a floor-standing toilet that is less susceptible to contamination and that can detect water leakage and dew condensation that occurs in a space formed by a floor and a toilet body.SOLUTION: A floor-standing toilet 10 comprises a toilet body 20 having a circumferential lower end surface 42 and forming a closed space S with a floor surface F in a state of being placed on the floor surface F, and a sealing material 60 interposed between the lower end surface 42 and the floor surface F.
