To provide a floating type break water in which a reduction effect on the wave force energy of a long wave is improved greatly by means of a punched-hole panel disposed between buoyancy columns, and a heavyweight flow prevention plate below the punched-hole plate.SOLUTION: A floating type breakwater of the present invention includes first buoyancy columns that are arranged separately from each other and that form a first passage, punched-hole panels to which the first buoyancy columns are coupled above the first passage and in which a plurality of holes penetrating the front and rear surfaces are formed, and flow prevention plates coupled to the first buoyancy columns below the punched-hole panels. The flow prevention plates are formed relatively more heavily in weight than the punched-hole panels.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
