To provide a hook lock in which malfunctioning caused by a sickle neck crashing into a door column is improved when a sliding door is tightly closed in a state where the sickle neck is projected.SOLUTION: A hook lock 10A has a lock body 10 which includes: a plate-shaped sickle operating member 2 arranged so as to be movable in a direction along which the lock body extends, having a first connecting point 32 at a front side for connection with a rear connecting point of a connecting member 3, and having a cutout portion 22 at a rear side for engagement with an operating member 4; a sickle member 1 pivoted at a front side of the lock body 10, having a predetermined length that allows a swing movement between a locked position and an unlocked position, and having a second connecting point 11 connected to the front connecting point of the connecting member 3 in a rotatable manner; the connecting member 3 being interposed disposed between the sickle operating member 2 and the sickle member 1, having a front connecting point connected to the second connecting point of the sickle member 1 in a rotatable manner, and having a rear connecting point connected to the first connecting point of the sickle operating member 2 in a rotatable manner; and the lock body 10 having the operating member 4 whose tip projection 42 is in engagement with the cutout portion of the sickle operating member 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
