MASS DAMPER
To provide a mass damper in which an inertial mass element and an attenuation element are connected in series, the attenuation element has small temperature dependence and repetition dependence, attenuation characteristic depends on speed and an axial force of the mass damper can be appropriately restricted.SOLUTION: A mass damper 1A includes a nut 11c of which one end part is screwed with a screw shaft 11a connected to a first portion in a system containing a structure 3 via a ball 11b, an inner cylinder 12 of which one end part is connected to a second portion and supports the nut 11c freely rotatably and a rotary mass 13 arranged so as to cover the nut 11c and an outer circumference of the inner cylinder 12. Therein, one side of the nut 11c and the rotary mass 13 is constituted with ferromagnetic material, the other side is constituted with electrically conductive material, and a plurality of permanent magnets 15 which are arranged along circumferential direction on one side of the nut 11c and the rotary mass 13 and generates Lorentz force according to eddy current of a direction opposite to the rotation onto the nut 11c rotated in a magnetic field are provided on the ferromagnetic body side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】慣性質量要素と減衰要素が直列に接続され、この減衰要素が、温度依存性や繰り返し依存性が小さく、かつ速度に依存する減衰特性を有するとともに、マスダンパの軸力を適切に制限できるマスダンパを提供する。【解決手段】本発明によるマスダンパ1Aは、一端部が構造物3を含む系内の第1部位に連結されるねじ軸11aにボール11bを介して螺合するナット11cと、一端部が第2部位に連結され、ナット11cを回転自在に支持する内筒12と、ナット11c及び内筒12の外周を覆うように配置された回転マス13と、を備え、ナット11c及び回転マス13の一方は強磁性体で構成され、他方は導電材料で構成されており、ナット11c及び回転マス13の前記一方に周方向に沿って配置され、磁界内を回転するナット11cに、その回転と反対方向の、渦電流によるローレンツ力を発生させる複数の永久磁石15を強磁性体側に備える。【選択図】図2
