To provide an asphalt coating for an asphalt-based roofing waterproof film, a waterproof film containing the asphalt coating, and a method for manufacturing the asphalt coating.SOLUTION: There is an asphalt coating for roofing waterproof film, containing, based on total weight of all asphalt coating, about 30 to about 88 weight percentage (wt.%) of asphalt, about 0.1 to about 15 wt.% of low molecular weight (MW) polyethylene having number average molecular weight of 2000 to 8000 dalton and oxidized, about 1 to about 30 wt.% of a thermoplastic elastomer, about 5 to about 48 wt.% of an inorganic filler, and about 1 to about 20 wt.% of a softening agent.SELECTED DRAWING: None
