To provide the water storage tank, the hot water storage type heat exchanger and the sanitary washing device, that can suppress cracking of a joint member due to water pressure from inside a tank.SOLUTION: The water storage tank with a space for storing water inside comprises: a lower housing; an upper housing that is located on the lower housing, is longer in the vertical direction than the lower housing, and forms the space by being joined to the lower housing; and a joining member that is located between the lower housing and the upper housing and joins the lower housing and the upper housing, wherein the lower housing has a concave part provided on a space side with respect to the joining member, the upper housing has a convex part provided on the space side with respect to the joining member, and the convex part is fitted in the concave part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
