To provide a survey method of ground property capable of more accurately surveying stratum property.SOLUTION: In a survey method of ground property, hole drilling data is obtained at each prescribed depth when drilling a hole in a ground G with a pipe body 113 comprising a bit 114 at a tip, and sludge is stored in an empty groove Gx formed in an insertion port of the pipe body 113. Moving image data is obtained by capturing the sludge in the empty groove Gx. Property of the ground is estimated based on the drilling data. 【課題】地層の性状をより正確に調査することができる地盤性状の調査工法を提供する。【解決手段】先端にビット114が備わる管体113によって地盤Gを削孔する際に、所定の深度毎に削孔データを取得し、かつ管体113の挿入口に形成された空堀Gxに排泥が蓄えられるものとしつつ、当該空堀Gxの排泥を撮像して動画データを取得し、削孔データに基づいて地盤の性状を推定し、この推定を動画データに基づいて補正することを特徴とする地盤性状の調査工法である。【選択図】図1
